UNITED WE STAND

Our language represents who we are. Every nation in the world has its own language. We Filipinos use the Filipino language to communicate to our fellow counrtymen anywhere in the country. We should be proud and use it for its our own.

Every year, we celebrate the Buwan ng Wika every August and for this year's theme is " Tatag ng Wikang Filipino, Lakas ng Pagka-pilipino ". During the term of former-president Fidel Ramos, he approved and put to law that our national language would be Filipino. This was done through the effort and hardship of Manuel L. Quezon, the Father of Filipino language. We may differ with our local dialects but we should not forget to learn Filipino because aside of our local dialect, our national language is the key of reliable and effective communication. Whenever we are around the world, we should be proud and make a stand that we take pride of our nationality as Filipinos.

We should join hand in hand to uplift the Filipino nation by showing our love and respect to our own language. As to what our national hero said that, " Ang hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit pa sa hayop at malansang isda ".

"LET' S ALL UNITE AND BE PROUD CAUSE WE ARE FILIPINOS"

"WHEN WE ARE ALL UNITED, WE CAN ALL MAKE A STAND"

Let's all be proud to say, "PINOY TAYO"

"Making A Good Start"

It was a good start for the school year because I have learned many things in ICT IV. First of all is the knowledge I gained about how the INTERNET came up to its development through the contribution of its architects, and pioneers. I also learned how to create my blog. The internet was really helpful especially to a students like me because it doesn't just provide us information for our homeworks and projects in school but it also helped me have a little enjoyment during my freetime through the social networking sites, online games and other services and tools in it. During this first grading period, I am glad that I learned how to have a blog through the help of Mrs. Veracruz, my ICT teacher. During the past part of my high school life, I heard about this blog but I didn't have any idea on how to create one so I'm thankful that now in my life as a senior, I've learned it and it was really helpful because it allows me to share my ideas on specific topics and it also helps me a lot in improving my writing skills.

Problems and stressful things are not preventable in our life. This first quarter of the school year really gave me a lot of stress because almost every night, I have to do homeworks and requirements for school and if I really can't bear to stay awake, I'll just set my alarm clock at 3:00 a.m or 4:00 a.m and that would be the time that I will finish it. It was really frustrating because when I go to school the next day, I would feel sleepy but I had to make myself awake especially during class discussions so that I would understand the lesson. Internet connection also became one of my problem because in our house, we don't have a steady connection.
Despite of these problems that I encountered, I made it as a challenge for me to overcome them and I found time to have my schedule in studying my lessons. I had now my practice that when I am coming home from school, I either eat first my dinner or take a shower before doing my assignments because I want that when I do my assignments, I feel fresh and ready to face my works and I want that there would not be disturbances to what I am doing. I also made it a habit not to do my assignments in front of the television because I want to change my habit when I am still in third year and It was really effective and helpful.
Moving on, I will continue to do the good things that I started specially in terms of my study habit and I am hoping that I will properly handle the next grading period by having a better performance in our different subjects. I will strive harder in my studies and I will have advance readings on expected lessons so that I would be able to understand the lessons that our teachers will give us.
